Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services, invites applicants to contribute to aerospace innovations. This hybrid position in Mirabel requires approximately 3 days a week onsite. Job Description As a member of a specialized group within the engineering team, you will support a commercial aircraft program as a Design Engineer specialist for in‑service support. Key Responsibilities Assess structural damage to aircraft. Respond to grounded (AOG) situations and customer engineering requests. Investigate causes of in‑service problems, resolve failures, and find effective solutions. Propose repair solutions that meet sector regulations and customer requirements. Work closely with design authorities and subject‑matter experts in stress, aerodynamics, materials, and processes. Prepare design reports in English for certification purposes. Design generic structural repairs for metallic and composite structures. Participate in the design and support of structural modifications. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in aircraft repair (in‑service, MAP/MRB). Proficiency with CATIA V5, Enovia, and PLM Configuration. Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure. Ability to challenge aircraft structural repairs. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Energetic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment and willingness to take responsibility, acting independently in a high‑pressure partner/supplier team environment. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong written and oral communication in English; French a plus.
