Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Remote/Hybrid with occasional travel to our headquarters (NYC/Toronto).

Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and optimize all operational aspects of Kala Therapy. The COO will play a key role in scaling our e-commerce operations, managing supply chain and logistics, creating financial forecasts, and driving efficiency across teams to achieve our ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • E-Commerce Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations of our online platforms, ensuring seamless customer experiences and scalability.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop and manage financial forecasts, inventory planning, and operational budgets to support rapid growth.
  • Supply Chain Management: Optimize logistics, warehousing, and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align operational efforts with company objectives.
  • Global Expansion: Support international growth initiatives, including compliance with regulations, market research, and regional operations.
  • Technology Integration: Oversee the implementation of tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or similar leadership role in e-commerce or a consumer-focused business.
  • Strong background in financial forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Experience scaling operations in high-growth companies, particularly in e-commerce or health/wellness industries.
  • Knowledge of international markets and regulatory requirements is a strong plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
