Operate crushing equipment at Equinox Gold’s Valentine Gold Mine while applying process monitoring and troubleshooting skills. Work a 14 days in, 14 days out rotation.
Reporting to the Process Plant Operations Supervisor, the Crusher Operator runs the crushing plant’s feeder, crusher, and conveyor system. You will monitor equipment and process parameters, perform checks, and support safe, compliant production. The role requires communication with operations and maintenance personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre operational equipment checks
- Operate crushing equipment under standard procedures
- Monitor processes and troubleshoot operational problems
- Complete reports and communicate equipment deficiencies
- Maintain housekeeping and support maintenance activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years processing and crushing plant experience
- Two years mining industry operating experience
- Mechanical aptitude and basic repair ability
- Valid driver license and driver’s abstract
