Provide technical design support for infrastructure design including sanitary sewers, water mains, site layout, utility layout, grading, cut and fill (site optimization) and drainage. Prepare precise engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates to ensure project quality and compliance. Support field investigations and construction inspections, providing timely technical solutions and responding to site queries. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in client meetings to achieve seamless, high-quality project outcomes. Assist project managers in tracking progress, schedules, and deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving challenges. Contribute to proposal development and internal quality reviews, helping secure new business and maintain technical excellence. What you’ll bring to WSP: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a recognized institution, with E.I.T. or P.Eng. registration in Manitoba (or eligibility). 5–8 years’ hands-on experience designing municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. Experience with hydraulic analysis would be an asset. Proficient in Manitoba/Canadian design standards, codes, and approval processes. Experience should encompass hydraulic evaluations, conceptual/feasibility studies, preparation of design reports, development of construction drawings and specifications, bidding assistance, and support of office and field-related construction services Skilled in preparing detailed tender packages and utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high‑quality work. Excellent communicator, adept at both written and verbal interactions in team settings. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
