Support prescription processing at Real Canadian Superstore through accurate data entry, patient service, and pharmacy inventory control. Help customers receive dependable assistance.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will greet patients, confirm prescription information, and enter patient care details. You will support prescription dispensing, third-party adjudication when necessary, and customer prescription pickup. The position also includes pharmacy stock maintenance and responding to general over-the-counter enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and confirm pertinent prescription information
- Enter patient care information accurately into computer systems
- Complete third-party adjudication when necessary
- Dispense prescription medications accurately
- Maintain pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
Requirements:
- Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and strong detail orientation
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient computer and data entry skills
- Flexibility for days, evenings, nights, and weekends
