The successful applicant will be involved in a broad range of projects with responsibilities as follows: Actively participate and drive Montrose’s strong safety culture Oversee and/or technically support the management of site assessment, remediation and monitoring project scopes, timelines, budgets, and communication with clients and project-related stakeholders Prepare and/or review technical correspondence, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and reports Ensure internal communication and collaboration to facilitate delivery of high-quality products to meet our clients’ unique project needs Work within a well-organized, innovative culture with support systems that empower professionals to provide high-quality solutions Transfer knowledge, share experiences, and support the training and mentorship of colleagues Be part of a technical practice community that supports team and personal innovation, growth and success at all levels Proactively engage in development opportunities and career growth What We Are Looking For An undergraduate or graduate degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field Registration in or a member in good standing of a professional organization (e.g. APEGA) A minimum of 8 years’ consulting experience in site assessment, remediation, and monitoring projects with a focus on hydrogeology Knowledge of BC, Alberta and/or Saskatchewan regulatory frameworks Experience with borehole logging, sample collection, field screening, and sample selection Strong data evaluation skills and ability to make decisions based on findings Experience writing and reviewing technical reports, work plans and cost estimates and giving presentations to multi-stakeholder groups Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), and a collaborative attitude Willingness to provide technical direction and mentorship to junior professionals Experience with Workday software would be an asset A valid and clean class 5 driver’s license with no restrictions Preference given to those who have experience managing complex salt or hydrocarbon impacted sites Why Choose Montrose? This is a permanent position with a salary range of $95,000 - $142,000, starting pay dependent on skills, experience and location.
