Position Summary Responsible for transporting a variety of cargo on flatbed trailers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and securing loads properly. Your role includes conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, managing delivery schedules, and operating the vehicle safely on various routes. Location Woodville, ON What You Will Do Making deliveries in a safe and timely manner Strapping off loads in all weather conditions Constant communication with the customer Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement, and report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs. Over‑Dimensional loads. CCS will train load securement and Over dimensional. Strapping and securing Flagging and D‑Signs Roll off trailer O/O truck must have 2 prong power plug to charge trailer. What You’ll Bring 1‑3 years AZ driving experience Less than High School, but has basic reading, communication, and arithmetic skills to follow direction Valid AZ license/Class 1 licence Must have minimum 6 months of Flatbed experience Along With The Following Skills & Competencies Must be comfortable with both city and highway driving, regular tight turns, and backup into small docks Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis Follow company rules and regulations in regards to safety and hours of service Excellent customer service skills Why people love working for Canada Cartage Cohesive team and a positive, hard‑working atmosphere.
