CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Taber

Central Elementary School is a kindergarten to Grade 5 school. Our 25 staff provide service to approximately 225 students from the Town of Taber and surrounding area.

1.0 FTE Temporary Kindergarten Teacher

Taber Central School is seeking a temporary kindergarten teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Central School runs two kindergarten programs; a Monday/Wednesday full day, a Tuesday/Thursday full day, and alternate half day Friday's for each class. Experience working with and education specific to teaching young children will be considered an asset. Areas that would be included in this would be working with English as Additional Language Learners, Early Literacy, Early Numeracy and Play-Based Learning. An understanding of inclusion and supports for diverse learners would be seen as a strength.

The position commences August 19, 2024 and concludes June 18, 2025 or upon return of the incumbent, whichever occurs first.
