HANA Database Administrator Senior Canada Join SAP as a senior HANA Database Administrator in Canada and contribute to the Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery environment. What You Will Do Support critical projects and administration while driving continuous improvement in operations, availability, and efficiency. Lead infrastructure re‑architecture, new technology adoption, and global initiatives. Key Responsibilities Incident, Problem, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup & Restore management. System and database performance optimization and tuning. Documentation of day‑to‑day operations and process improvement. Participation in Center of Excellence teams and strategic pilot projects. On‑call duty and weekend tasks on a rotation basis. What You Bring 8+ years of DBA experience, primarily on SAP HANA and ASE (other RDBMS welcome). Strong conceptual understanding of RDBMS products and database administration. Proficiency in Linux, automation tools, scripting, and process automation. Experience with database installation, upgrades, and migration planning. Knowledge of security, backup & recovery strategies, high availability, disaster recovery, replication, and system copies. Clear documentation and communication skills. Willingness to handle on‑call duty and weekend work. Experience with Public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is desirable. Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or database platform certifications are a plus. Benefits & Compensation Targeted combined range: 113,500 - 192,900 CAD annually (annualized, including base salary and variable incentive).
