Field CTO at 3Pillar 3Pillar Global builds breakthrough software products that power digital businesses. 3Pillar is seeking an experienced and dynamic Field CTO to provide thought leadership, consult on strategic customer‑ and partner‑engagements, enable the sales organization with technology and product development expertise, and give guidance to product delivery teams on key accounts. As a Field CTO you will act as a technical advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, working closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, provide guidance on solving technical challenges, and help them make informed decisions about their technology investments. You will report directly to the Chief Innovation Officer. Responsibilities Pre‑sales Engagements: Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams and executive stakeholders from client organizations to understand current challenges, share success stories, and support solutioning and account engagement during pre‑sales. Consulting: Ask probing questions, refocus client challenges, and propose solutions to enterprise business problems related to technology and systems strategy, data, target state design, industry best practices, and deep platform expertise. Delivery Advice: As a billable consultant, advise delivery teams on design and execution, ensuring alignment and mentoring team members as they mature professionally. Win Client Trust and Confidence: Build and sustain executive customer relationships, guiding them on technology and architecture strategy for existing and planned investments. Demonstrate 50% or higher billability through consultative and billable delivery engagements. Requirements 13+ years of experience with strong exposure to Product, UX, Data Engineering & Architecture. Knowledge of at least one full‑stack ecosystem and at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). Proven experience as a technical leader within a product development team. Previous client‑facing consulting experience required. High awareness of industry issues and trends, and the ability to incorporate these into future projects, positioning 3Pillar as a leader in new technologies.
