Support students and families as a School Bus Driver for First Student in Cornwall, Ontario. Expert training helps new drivers develop safe professional driving skills.
This part time position provides morning and afternoon transportation from Monday to Friday. You will follow traffic laws and company safety standards while supervising students, assisting with mobility aids, and communicating about behavior or delays. Additional field trip and special event transportation hours may be available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport students safely between home, school, and activities
- Maintain order and prevent distractions on buses
- Assist students during boarding and unloading
- Inspect brakes, lights, tires, and emergency exits
- Communicate with parents, staff, and dispatch
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Full G license held for one year
- Availability for part time weekday routes
- Interest in working with students
- No previous experience necessary
Use communication, leadership, and safety skills while helping First Student deliver dependable student transportation in Cornwall.
