Title: Manager, Psychological Health & Safety and OHS Salary: $99,899 - $135,158 per year (pay range explained below) Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours, 8:00 am‑4:00 pm (core 9:00 am‑3:00 pm Mon‑Fri) Location: Coast Salish Territories of Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil‑Waututh – Park Royal or Sinclair office – Hybrid (3 days in office). About The Role As Manager, Psychological Health & Safety and OHS, you will lead FNHA’s organization‑wide implementation of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety (CSA Z1003) through an FNHA lens, emphasizing cultural safety, anti‑racism, and First Nations perspectives. You will provide leadership oversight of the OHS department, align PHS with broader health and safety initiatives, and collaborate closely with the Cultural Safety & Humility team to embed CS&H practices and set measurable indicators for culture, safety, and wellness. About You Education & Occupational Certification, Experience (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS) Undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, OD, Leadership, Adult Learning, Behavioural Science (or related) 7–9 years of relevant experience in medium/large organizations or equivalent education and experience Deep knowledge of psychosocial factors and CSA Z1003; demonstrated success implementing organization‑wide PHS systems and change Project management, data/evaluation, conflict management, and excellent communication skills Valid BC Driver’s Licence with a satisfactory record and access to transportation Education & Occupational Certification (CONSIDERED AS ASSET) Master’s in Social Sciences, OD, Leadership, Adult Learning, Behavioural Science (or related) 7–9 years of healthcare experience preferred, or equivalent education and experience Ability to travel across BC and work outside standard hours as required Experience in Cultural Safety & Humility: demonstrated application of CS&H in PHS systems, including trauma‑informed approaches and culturally safe outcomes Knowledge and Ability Commitment to cultural safety, anti‑racism, equity, diversity & inclusion, and First Nations self‑determination Flexibility to work hybrid office/community travel, extended screen time, and high‑intensity implementation periods Working at FNHA Municipal pension plan with employer contribution of 9.31% 4 weeks’ vacation (5 weeks with service), 5 personal days, 1 volunteer day, and 14 public holidays including National Indigenous People’s Day, National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Easter Monday, and Boxing Day Access to group health benefits and a Health‑Care Spending Account through Canada Life from day 1 Additional benefits include wellness program and yearly wellness plan requirement The First Nations Health Authority is committed to respecting diversity within its workforce; preference will be given to individuals who identify as First Nations, Inuit, or Métis.
