Responsibilities include conducting eye examinations to assess and diagnose vision conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, managing eye diseases, and recommending suitable treatments. The Optometrist will also provide personalized patient consultations, communicate effectively with patients, and collaborate with fellow team members to ensure exceptional customer care. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques is an integral part of this role. Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program and a valid license to practice optometry in Alberta Proficiency in performing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing visual and ocular conditions Ability to prescribe corrective eyewear and recommend tailored treatments for patients Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain a professional rapport with patients Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a patient‑centric approach to deliver the highest standard of care Experience working in a retail or clinical setting is an asset Commitment to staying updated with advancements in optometry and maintaining continuing education requirements Employment type: ContractSeniority level: Entry levelJob function: Health Care ProviderIndustry: Retail #J-18808-Ljbffr
