THE POSITION The High School English & French Teacher will collaborate with members of staff to create innovative programming and learning opportunities. You will ensure effective implementation of inclusive practices for all students while creating a rigorous learning environment. You possess energy, commitment and readiness to participate in extra‑curricular programming by coaching basketball or volleyball. QUALIFICATIONS BC Ministry of Education Certification Relevant university qualifications (Bachelor of Education, minor, concentration or major in English and French) Prior experience in teaching Gr. 9 English and Gr. 9 French Experience in Christian Education is an asset A comprehensive understanding of language curriculum as per Ministry of Education BC documents High fluency with technology, including Google suites Model high standards in teaching practice, interactions with all stakeholders Known to communicate, negotiate, collaborate, and build partnerships effectively WHAT DO WE OFFER?
