Cognizant is seeking an MS SQL DBA/Azure SQL DBA for a full-time hybrid opportunity in Toronto, ON. In This Role, You Will Manage and maintain MS SQL/ Azure SQL databases to ensure optimal performance and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that align with business needs. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity. Provide technical support and guidance to team members on Azure SQL best practices. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Optimize database configurations to enhance system performance and scalability. Participate in the planning and execution of database migrations and upgrades. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to database infrastructure. Document database configurations processes and procedures for future reference. What You Will Need To Succeed (required Skills) Bachelor’s Degree with 6 to 10 years of experience in MS SQL DBA/Azure SQL DBA.
