This Embedded Systems Software Developer contributes to next-generation routing, switching, and distributed platforms. You will design, implement, and optimize critical software components while collaborating with engineering teams, technical leaders, and architecture groups. The work emphasizes scalability, platform availability, and system-level innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software components across networking platforms
- Optimize critical code for scalability and platform availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and architecture teams
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical initiatives
- Mentor emerging talent using software engineering best practices
Requirements:
- Enrollment in a qualifying degree or workforce development program
- Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related education
- Strong C and C++ systems programming proficiency
- Understanding of operating systems internals and networking protocols
- Linux development experience using GDB, Valgrind, and Git
