Electrical Engineering, EIT – Power Electronics Join us at Jule as an Electrical Engineer, EIT, specializing in Power Electronics for Energy projects. You will work in a fast‑paced, flat‑management environment focused on developing battery energy storage systems (BESS) and electric vehicle fast charging (EVFC) solutions. Company Overview: eCAMION Inc. is a Toronto‑based, all‑in‑one solution provider of Battery Energy Storage Systems and Electric Vehicle Fast Charging infrastructure. CSS / EVFC projects span community energy storage, electrified transportation, and microgrid development. Our mission is to deliver turnkey solutions that meet both immediate and long‑term client needs. Job Responsibilities: Design, simulate, prototype, and test high‑power DC/DC converters and Li‑ion battery packs. Prototype, test, commission, document, and certify BESS and EVFC products. Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and academic collaborators; facilitate knowledge transfer. Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and User Acceptance Tests (UAT). Analyze equipment performance data to identify root causes of performance issues. Review component datasheets and perform sample testing. Document all technical details of design work and prepare application notes, progress reports, and test summaries. Assist with special projects as required. Occasional travel to Canada and the USA is expected. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Completion of structured learning in Power Electronics and control systems (e.g., ECE520, ECE1066, ECE663). Three years of experience designing, simulating, prototyping, and testing converters and inverters. Familiarity with practical design components: transistors, passive components, pulse transformers, EMI filters, and transducers. Proficiency in circuit simulation tools (LT‑SPICE) and control loop design tools (Scilab, NumPy). Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook). Team‑player mindset, willing to collaborate and embrace feedback. Hands‑on approach, willing to work in design labs, manufacturing facilities, and on-site.
