Support electrical product customers with merchandise advice, sales transactions, and inventory systems in an on-site customer service setting. This permanent role requires bilingual communication.
As a Sales Associate, you will work with building materials, lamps and lighting fixtures, and power tools. The position includes customer service in a hardware store, among wholesalers, and within electrical products manufacturing. You will use cash registers, computerized inventory records, and Internet-based electronic commerce. Two years to less than three years of experience are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cash registers and computerized inventory systems
- Advise customers about merchandise quality and suitability
- Conduct Internet-based electronic commerce sales transactions
- Estimate prices, credit terms, warranties, and delivery dates
- Prepare merchandise and maintain inventory sales records
Requirements:
- Two years to less than three years of experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Excellent oral communication and efficient interpersonal skills
- Organized, dependable, proactive, and collaborative approach
- Criminal record check required
