Canam Group is looking for a skilled Crane Operator to join their team. With 1-2 years of experience, you'll operate overhead and tandem cranes efficiently, perform daily inspections, and manage material requisitions. This role involves working independently and as part of a team, ensuring that work complies with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily pre-use inspections on cranes and equipment
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling
• Load and unload coils in production areas
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Conduct area cleanup and housekeeping duties
Requirements:
• 1-2 years experience operating heavy industrial equipment
• Proven ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with tandem crane operation and shunting
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely
• Basic English skills for documentation
