We’re looking for a passionate and driven Womenswear Fashion Designer to join our team This individual will be working within a dynamic and inspiring design team. This role will work directly with the Design Director.


Tasks:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, analyze runways and consumer preferences;
  • Participate & develop collection concept mood boards and color palettes to establish the desired aesthetic for each season;
  • Create original designs and follow through the entire process from initial sketch CAD, techpack, prototype & SMS;
  • Create presentation boards & sketch boards for internal review meetings;
  • Create & maintain collection plan boards used for internal planning purposes;
  • Work closely with suppliers and oversee product development and costing;
  • Create styles in our ERP system and ensure any changes & updates are reflected in the system throughout the system;
  • Participate in fittings and relay comments & changes to the factory;
  • Coordinate & maintain follow up lists for sampling;
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on Product Features for ecommerce;
  • Adhere to the Design & Development calendar and make sure all deadlines & key milestones are met.



Requirements:

  • Fashion Design Diploma in Womenswear
  • Must have 2+ years experience in similar role
  • Strong Illustrator skills
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Smart, Driven & Hardworking
  • Great Aesthetic
  • Loves Fashion
  • Flexibility to travel
