The Environmental Assessment (EA) Project Manager is responsible for providing project management expertise and leadership for a variety of projects undergoing provincial and federal impact assessment processes. Duties will include but are not limited to planning, budgeting, conflict resolution, and problem solving in a way that aligns with TWC’s values, mission, and strategic priorities. The successful candidate will lead teams in the delivery of biophysical, regulatory and human environment services to our diverse client base. Duties and Responsibilities Build and maintain positive client relationships focused on providing high-quality services across TWC business lines. Interface with clients and team members to bid on, set up, manage, and report on scopes of work. Maintain a proficient level of technical knowledge in TWC’s specialty areas, including provincial (primarily BC) and federal impact assessments, as well as all applicable regulatory requirements and best practices. Manage multidisciplinary projects and delivery of all project components and oversight to team member activities. Manage project forecasts, budgets, schedules, costing, and change to ensure projects are delivered on target. Ensure timely submission of client invoices and client payment. Prepare and provide review of proposals. Work with TWC leadership to forecast and plan resource needs for projects. Model and ensure compliance of team members with corporate values, health and safety policies, and any other client or regulatory standards. Develop and maintain positive relationships with teammates; continually support career development and recognition for teammates. Other duties as required. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a project management role. Experience in environmental and/or socioeconomic impact assessment projects in BC. Experience in other jurisdictions is an asset. Experience working with proponents, regulators, and/or Indigenous Nations on environmental or socioeconomic projects. Previous experience in environmental and social consultancy required, with experience working on mining projects in BC preferred. Degree from an accredited institution. Project management training and Project Management Professional (PMP) designation an asset. Deep understanding of reconciliation and Indigenous communities in Canada. Strong supervisory, team leadership, and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize challenges and competing interests (e.g., time/cost/quality). Strong desire to deliver high quality client service. Demonstrated awareness and understanding of risks and liabilities. Experience working with remote teams. Advanced capability and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to frame and communicate complex issues into simple tasks.
