We are looking for a full-time Associate Teacher to join us on a six month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extending for an additional year. This mentorship-oriented role supports teachers who are early in their career and aspire to full-time classroom teaching in the future. This position is ideal for a teacher in the first three years of their career. Key Responsibilities Establish day-to-day connection and sense of belonging with students and colleagues in a thriving school community Teach in diverse classrooms from Kindergarten to Grade 7 Support student learning with small group and individual instruction Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals that embrace school values of courage, creativity, and citizenship Participate in a dynamic professional development network Enjoy leadership in co‑curricular activities Provide TOC (Teacher on Call) coverage from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 7, including specialist areas such as Art, PE, and Music as appropriate Ability to teach elementary French preferred Collaborate with classroom teachers by supporting in areas such as curriculum planning, differentiated instruction, and assessment Provide personalised instruction and learning support for individual students Participate in co‑curricular activities and clubs each term such as choir, debating, cooking, public speaking, coding, and musical theatre Engage in field trips, outdoor education, service projects, leadership development, and athletics Requirements / Qualifications B.C.
