Akkodis is partnered with a global leading automotive and vehicle manufacturer to recruit multiple Software Test Automation Developers to join a growing development team based out of Kanata, ON. As part of the team, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies.


Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with development and test teams to understand testing requirements and implement cutting-edge test tools and scripts.
  • Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the target under test, ensuring the highest quality in our software products.
  • Create and maintain software tools and features to streamline automated testing processes.
  • Collaborate with our agile scrum team to contribute to project deliverables and drive innovation.


What You Bring:

  • Experience with automated testing environments and frameworks, such as Slash, to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
  • Proficiency with continuous integration systems, like Jenkins, to streamline our development processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to produce creative and effective solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • A passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure our products exceed expectations.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Python development within a QA Automation environment.
  • Experience with REST APIs, TestRail, Slash, Jenkins, JIRA, and SQL databases.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
