Base pay range CA$55.00/hr - CA$65.00/hr Direct message the job poster from IFG - International Financial Group Our client a mid-size construction firm is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and lead the accounting team. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, month‑end close, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end close processes Maintain compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Improve accounting systems, processes, and internal controls Support management with financial analysis and reporting as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required) CPA or CMA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience 2+ years in a supervisory or management role Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Finance and Accounting/Auditing Industries Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at IFG - International Financial Group by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Accounting Manager” roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
