Store Director – Overview We’re looking for a dynamic Store Director to drive client service, people development, and sales excellence at SEPHORA Canada. Store Location Store: ON-Conestoga (0872)Address: 550 King Street North Unit C13A, Waterloo, ON N2L 5W6, Canada (CA) Job Summary Title: Store DirectorFull Time: YesPosition Type: RegularVacancy Status: This position is for an existing, open vacancyCompensation: CAD$82,200.00 – CAD$102,700.00 (base salary) plus performance‑based bonus and benefits program. Duties & Responsibilities Forecast sales and payroll with District Manager to drive store results. Monitor daily, weekly, monthly sales, and communicate results to staff. Manage and measure effectiveness of business strategies; adjust game plan as needed. Achieve sales plans and operating profits while maintaining expenses. Develop strategies to grow business leveraging loyalty program, events, product knowledge and services. Maintain optimum staffing levels to deliver exceptional client experience within budget. Recruit, interview, and hire all positions according to business needs. Train, coach, delegate, supervise, and motivate Assistant Managers and Supervisors to develop leadership and business skills. Implement coaching culture with timely acknowledgment of successes and feedback. Ensure all team members receive quarterly development meetings and plans. Conduct inventories on time and maintain updated inventory records. Communicate inventory issues/concerns to District Manager and key stakeholders. Make strategic merchandising decisions in accordance with Sephora concepts when necessary. Analyze sales trends and react appropriately. Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of management experience in retail/service industry. Experience recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership. Effective time management, problem solving, communication. Strong composure and managerial courage. Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel. High School graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred. Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Work in a fragrance‑filled environment. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Bend and stretch to stock shelves.
