Job Details Job Title: Cloud DevOps Graduate - Canada Location: Calgary, Canada Employment Type: Full-Time Start Date: July 13, 2026 Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm Work Arrangement: Hybrid Work Authorization: This application is intended for candidates that are eligible for full-time work authorization in Canada upon completing their education. Role Description This is a brilliant opportunity to join the AVEVA R&D graduate program with our Cloud DevOps team. Key Responsibilities Be an integral part of Product/Scrum team to understand, define, and test solution requirements in Cloud environments. Develop applications using technologies such as .NET Core, Microservices, Node JS, Python, PowerShell, SQL, Analytics and Monitoring to meet functional and non-functional requirements with built-in quality. Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily Scrum, sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews. Author, review, execute, maintain, and test shared applications and/or tools. Develop, build, customize, deploy, and manage the environment, test suites and test automation frameworks. Maintain and enhance test automation suites using appropriate frameworks and tools. Contribute to the define, design, build, and test solutions for our Cloud solutions. Perform Quality Assurance testing to ensure project requirements are met. Deploy industrial solutions into AVEVA’s cloud for our customers. Opportunity to network, collaborate, and develop domain skills such as Cloud Monitoring, logging, Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code. Write/debug automation scripts for tooling and/or shared infrastructure. Essential Requirements Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Engineering graduating by June 2026. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle. Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Desired Skills Cloud platforms familiarity: Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or other cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with orchestration technologies; Kubernetes is a plus. Ability to work efficiently with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Interest in driving automated solutions and building tools to streamline operations and improve developer productivity. Strong problem solving, requirement understanding, and a willingness to learn new processes and technologies. Organizational skills: ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, evolving environment. Customer focus: ability to listen to customers, understand requests, and respond proactively. Enjoy solving problems and troubleshooting challenging issues.
