Base pay range CA$35.00/hr - CA$38.00/hr Job Description InsightGlobal is looking for a Business analyst for a hybrid 6-month contract with a high possibility for extensions. This Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting Treasury Payment Solutions within Commercial Banking. This role focuses on gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring successful application development, software releases, and delivery of banking systems. The BA will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to deliver secure, efficient, and compliant payment solutions. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Analysis Collaborate with treasury, operations, and technology stakeholders to capture business needs. Document functional and non-functional requirements for payment applications and systems. Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development teams. Software Release & Delivery Support end-to-end release management for treasury payment applications. Coordinate testing (UAT, regression, integration) and ensure defects are tracked/resolved. Partner with delivery teams to ensure timely and quality releases into production. Application & System Support Assist in system enhancements, upgrades, and new feature rollouts. Monitor application performance and elevate issues to technology teams. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and audit requirements. Stakeholder Management Act as liaison between business units, IT, and vendors. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and dependencies. Facilitate workshops, demos, and training sessions for end-users. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes and system workflows. Recommend automation and digital solutions to improve efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives in treasury operations.
