Position Overview We are currently seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Electrode Equipment Engineer (PM Part) to join our team.
As an Electrode Equipment Engineer (PM Part), you will handle Preventative Maintenance scheduling, Spare Parts Management, Part Failure Analysis, and testing of various mechanical equipment. You will work with equipment and production engineers to set up procedures, fix system issues, and offer technical advice.

include monitoring and updating the Equipment Management System, improving equipment performance, and diagnosing failures.
Responsibilities
Applies engineering techniques to install, modify, analyze, repair and test tools, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. Confers with equipment engineers and other personnel to implement PM procedures. Work with the production team to plan and execute PM tasks. Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
Reflect chronic breakdowns in new PM activities. Investigates equipment failures, difficult to diagnose faulty operations, and makes recommendations to the maintenance crew. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility and cost as it pertains to new PM activities and equipment. Publishing and revising PM, Spare Parts, and Machine Shop related documents.
Communicate with vendors to solve complex problems by identifying and evaluating alternatives to provide support. Act as primary contact for equipment performance questions and concerns. Work with engineers and operators to troubleshoot the machines on the production floor to ensure highest yield and OEE. Improve maintenance processes by creating various SOPs and train technicians to ensure understanding and correct implementation on the floor.
Maintain communication between department co‑workers and manage production flow from one process to the next. Prepare and participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings with other teams. Provide emergency breakdown support. Spare parts room and machine shop 3R5S.
Ensure you and your team adhere to all safety rules, wear all PPE and additional items as required including but not limited to safety glasses, surgical masks, bump caps / hardhats, latex / nitrile gloves, smocks, respirators, and Tychem suits. Additional duties or tasks as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in any engineering major is preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, etc.). MS Office tool‑based report writing and oral communication skills.
Advanced Skill of Computer Aided Design Software (Ex. Auto CAD, Solid Works). Ability to work well with individuals and teams across the company to achieve team goals and targets. Computational Skill, Troubleshooting, Problem‑solving, and Statistical knowledge.
A team player who can multitask and thrive in a very dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Legally authorized to work in Canada. Willing and able to travel and train abroad for up to 6‑12 months upon hiring. Willing and able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
Ability to lift or move up to 40 lbs. Preferred Requirements 3+ years' experience with maintenance of large manufacturing plants including troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of failure for breakdowns. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Resourceful and self‑sufficient with strong time management skills and the ability to determine priorities.
