Meldrum Orthodontics is looking for a passionate and energetic part-time Hygienist to join our well-established practice in Georgetown, ON. This position may require travel to both the Georgetown and Orangeville locations.
We are seeking someone to cover a temporary leave of absence, with the potential for continued employment on a full time or part time basis for the right candidate

About the role - Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for assisting the orthodontist in the delivery of patient care
• Direct bonding of brackets
• Insert/cement appliances.
• Invisalign delivery
• Removal of brackets and aligner attachments
• Polishing of the tooth surface
• Deliver patient personal oral hygiene care, appliance, and elastic instructions.
• Educate patient and parents on treatment progress.
• Chart procedures
• Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.

Qualifications you bring:
• Registered Dental Hygienist
• Previous experience in an orthodontic office (asset).
• Current CPR certification
