The Senior Engagement Specialist supports the design, delivery, and measurement of employee engagement programs, events, and communications for Front Line employees. This role develops high-quality content, presentations, and support materials, and provides operational and logistical support for engagement initiatives, helping to foster a positive, inclusive, and client‑focused culture. The Senior Engagement Specialist applies event marketing concepts to enhance the effectiveness and reach of engagement activities. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: Develop and deliver communications, presentations, and support materials for engagement programs and events, incorporating event marketing principles to maximize impact. Provide operational and logistical support for the implementation and sustainment of engagement initiatives (e.g., town halls, conferences, recognition ceremonies, roadshows). Create promotional content and assist with event campaigns to drive awareness and participation. Act as a resource for employees, responding to queries, gathering feedback, and escalating issues as needed. Synthesize feedback from Pulse surveys, event Q&A, and field channels into concise reports and recommendations. Monitor engagement outcomes and adoption rates, reporting insights to the Manager and Senior Manager. Collaborate with team members and business partners to ensure alignment and consistency in engagement support and messaging. Pursue effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, ensuring adherence to business controls and compliance requirements. Support engagement initiatives across Canada. Work with internal business partners and stakeholders. Utilize Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, AI tools, and multimedia/content design software. Required Skills Degree or diploma in Communications, Business, HR or related field preferred. 2–4 years’ experience in employee engagement, communications, event support, or event marketing, preferably in financial services. Demonstrated experience developing content, presentations, and promotional materials. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience supporting operational or engagement initiatives. Working knowledge of Retail Branch and Contact Centre performance measures. Bilingual (French, Spanish) considered an asset, but not required.
