Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian at Simcoe Veterinary Hospital in Barrie, ON. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, performing surgeries, administering vaccinations, conducting physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and offering preventative care services.


Qualifications

  • Veterinary Medicine, Surgery, and Diagnostic skills
  • Animal Care, Physical Examination, and Vaccination skills
  • Experience in interpreting diagnostic tests and offering preventative care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • DVM degree and licensure in Ontario
  • Prior experience in a veterinary hospital is a plus
