Support Toronto construction equipment service with leadership, repair coordination, and troubleshooting across Battlefield Equipment Rentals’ fleet.
This full-time, permanent Foreman position guides mechanics and QA staff while supporting safe, reliable equipment operation. Battlefield Equipment Rentals is part of Toromont Industries Ltd. The work includes customer quotes, work-order accuracy, production reporting, and technical assistance during major repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee department activities and coordinate service tasks
- Maintain repair-time and workmanship records accurately
- Advise mechanics on troubleshooting and repair practices
- Monitor production goals, schedules, materials, and inventory
- Ensure technicians follow safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic license, 421A or 310T
- Repair experience with construction equipment, including Genie, Skyjack, or CAT
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision
- Personal tools and on-call schedule flexibility required
