Senior Fullstack Engineer

Hevy is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll take on technical leadership , helping to architect, develop, and scale our mobile and web apps. You’ll tackle our most complex engineering challenges, improve system performance, and collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape the future of Hevy. We’re a small, fast-moving team supporting millions of users , so your work will have a massive impact on both our product and our users. You’ll build at scale across iOS, Android, WatchOS, WearOS, and web , ensuring our platform remains robust and high-performing as we continue to grow. What You’ll Do: Lead and contribute to the development of both frontend and backend systems using React(-Native), TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL . Architect scalable solutions , improving system performance and reliability. Mentor and support other engineers, fostering a culture of growth and technical excellence. Own projects end-to-end , from technical planning to execution. Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver new features and refine existing ones. What We’re Looking For: 4+ years of experience building and scaling web and/or mobile apps. Deep expertise in React(-Native), TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL . Strong problem-solving skills , with a track record of solving technical challenges at scale. Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal. Bonus: Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.
