Install and calibrate industrial weighing systems as an on-site Field Service Technician with Ontario Scale Group across Ontario.
This full-time technician role supports scales, electronic equipment, and basic PLC-connected systems. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs, document service work, and communicate recommendations to customers. The position suits candidates with maintenance, troubleshooting, and field service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, inspect, and maintain scales
- Diagnose equipment issues and identify technical faults
- Repair weighing systems and related electronic equipment
- Document completed work in service reports
- Respond to service calls and preventive maintenance needs
Requirements:
- Maintenance and repair experience with mechanical equipment
- Troubleshooting skills for scales, PLCs, and related systems
- Basic electronics, instrumentation, or PLC knowledge
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel Ontario
- Ability to use hand tools and multimeters safely
