We operate three mines—two in Canada and one in Mexico—with a portfolio of development projects including Lynn Lake, Island Gold Phase 3+ Expansion, and Puerto Del Aire. About Island Gold District: The Island Gold District is developing into one of the largest, lowest-cost gold mining areas in Canada, with Island Gold and Magino among its mines. The district prioritizes employee growth, high performance, and a culture of safety and accountability. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day, safe activities of electricians and instrument technicians on surface and underground sites. Provide maintenance support for electrical equipment and ensure production, safety, and environmental results meet business objectives. Coordinate daily production activities aligned with the mine plan and set goals for self and team. Assist in managing operating costs and work schedules. Provide timely, accurate shift reports and summaries for cross-shift and turnaround needs. Collaborate across departments to achieve organizational goals. Participate in maintenance and reliability improvement projects and PM development. Demonstrate effective motivation, organization, time management, and decision-making. Provide ongoing coaching and development feedback to improve performance. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives. Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications And Experience Minimum electrical inter-provincial trade certificate (Red Seal) and Supervisor Common Core. At least 5 years’ experience in a mine/plant production environment, including 3+ years of supervisory experience. Familiarity with Electrical Codes and CSA M421-00 for underground mining electrical installations. Ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced, team environment. Strong oral and written communication skills with a commitment to safety and social responsibility. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset. Schedule : This position is based in a camp operation with a defined 7 day on/7 day off rotation.
