The Solutions Architect will collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Technical Project Managers, Architects, and Technical Analysts to design and deliver comprehensive solutions for the client’s customers.


Responsibilities


  • Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, and design activities along with the Project Services Portfolio Manager(s) and Technical Project Managers.
  • Participate and lead technical meetings with customers, internal subject matter experts, and third-party vendors to gather technical specifications.
  • Produce architectural design documents to match customer requirements.
  • Provide Architecture Oversight during implementation.
  • Provide current best practices, design decisions, and solution alternatives as part of the architectural design documentation.
  • Participate in design, documentation, review and delivery activities, in conjunction with the Solutions Architect, Portfolio Managers and Project Managers.
  • Provide technical information for project proposals.
  • Work with other Solutions and Enterprise Architects to align designs with the enterprise roadmaps.


Requirements:


  • 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect.
  • Experience designing complex IT infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution design and specifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Technologies such as Desktop, Server, AD, ADFS, SQL, RDS etc.
  • Broad knowledge with different technologies like Unix server, Storage, Virtualization, Database Citrix (XenApp, XenDesktop), Identity Management, Voice, and Networking (wired/wireless).
  • Knowledge and experience with current architecture standards and industry best practices in various technologies and security.
  • Proven technical consulting experience in large enterprises.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
