This role oversees planning, design coordination, execution, monitoring, and project closeout while ensuring all work aligns with Onni’s high standards for quality, safety, and performance. The Senior Civil Project Manager regularly reports to Directors and plays a key leadership role in guiding project teams, consultants, and subcontractors.**Perks:*** Competitive pay & a Comprehensive Benefits Package.* Benefits include company-paid extended health care, dental care, vision care, life insurance, critical illness, and critical life insurance.* Annual Education Allowance* Generous Referral Program* Fun & collaborative company culture with lots of team building events* Local discounts to restaurants, clothing stores, personal training, and more* Free access to a fully equipped gym* Friends and Family rates for hospitality brands.**What You Will Do:*** Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and overall closure of Civil and Infrastructure.* Ensure projects are aligned with Onni’s standards, operational expectations, and strategic goals.* Prepare regular progress updates and reports to Directors**Scheduling:*** Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules for Civil and Infrastructure projects.* Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines* Provide schedule reporting and updates to Directors, highlighting risks, changes, and opportunities**Management and Leadership:*** Oversee the full tendering process, bid evaluation, and contract administration.* Define and communicate project scope for subcontractors, consultants, and all project stakeholders.* Allocate project resources effectively, including internal teams and external partners.* Manage all project documentation, communication flows, and reporting requirements.**Quality Control:*** Proactively manage changes to project scope and identify potential issues before they impact schedule or budget.* Implement troubleshooting, problem-solving, and corrective action strategies as needed.* Oversee and support the project team including Project Coordinators, Superintendents, and Project Consultants.* Ensure all work is executed on budget, on schedule, and in full compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.**What you bring:*** Minimum 7 years of Civil and Infrastructure construction related experience* Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution* Experience overseeing large Heavy Civil and Infrastructure projects* Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset* Project Management education an assetFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
