Stock merchandise, execute modulars, and maintain organized sales floors as a General Merchandise Associate with Walmart Canada in Edmonton. Customer service remains central.
Working across general merchandise, this associate stocks products, completes downstocking, applies product protection, and supports modular execution. The role also includes greeting customers, assisting product selection, promoting services, and communicating with associates. Availability varies according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock merchandise and complete required downstocking
- Set modulars, flex modulars, and new shelf caps
- Move feature merchandise to modular locations
- Process recovery merchandise from store areas
- Assist shoppers with product selection and purchase decisions
Requirements:
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Maintain focus while handling high task volumes
- Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties
- Stand and bend for extended periods
- Lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds
Use stocking, modular execution, recovery, and customer assistance skills to maintain Walmart Canada’s sales-floor standards.
