Dental Hygienist

*Position:* Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (12-16 Month Term Contract)
*Location:* Mill Bay, BC

*Minimum Requirements*
* *Qualifications:* Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
* Registered as a Dental Hygienist in the relevant province of occupation.
* *Skills:* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and organize a fast-paced daily schedule.
* Experience working independently within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
* Proficient computer skills, including practice management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) would be considered an asset.

* *Hourly Rate:* $58.00–$63.00/hour (based on experience).

*Your Responsibilities*
* Perform all aspects of clinical hygiene services, including scaling, root planing, polishing, and topical fluoride treatments.
* Understand how to case type patients based on clinical protocol.
* Act as an oral health educator, guiding patients in preventative techniques and promoting good oral health habits.
* Build strong, professional relationships with patients, ensuring personalized care tailored to their expectations.
* Provide a unique experience for each patient, delivering care based on their individual needs and desired outcomes.
