How You Will Contribute Lead investigations and analyze key field failures, identifying root causes and implementing effective mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues. Identify replacement parts or devise strategies to address component-related issues. Participate in the hardware design process for artwork changes for mitigation and cost reduction activities. Make process contributions toward the improvement of product field quality across multiple products. Must Haves Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of hardware design experience. Proven track record of supporting and troubleshooting hardware issues in production and/or manufacturing environments. Extensive experience in design validation with a focus on lab measurement techniques and test equipment. Expertise in analog and digital circuit debug, design, and testing. Strong analog circuit design fundamentals: amplifiers, filters, comparators, data converters, electro-optics circuits (control loops). Experience designing circuits for power conversion and sensitive low-noise circuitry. Ability to parse component datasheets and extract design and verification criteria. Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Assets Able to work well both in a team and independently. Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills to facilitate strong relationships with cross-functional groups. Able to coordinate with and/or direct other team members to achieve results. Experience with fiber optics and photonic components including SFPs, photodiodes, APDs and lasers. Experience or interest in using simulation tools like TINA and LTSpice. Knowledge of automation/scripting techniques to enhance test effectiveness. Pay Range The annual pay range for this position is $77,500 – $164,500.
