The Downtown Student Video Producer creates reliable multimedia content when contributor footage is unavailable or editorial gaps arise. This student role focuses on production rather than publishing, platform management, or editorial strategy. You will work with editorial direction and maintain an efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create short-form videos aligned with editorial direction
- Edit contributor and in-house footage for publication
- Deliver TikTok and Instagram Reels cuts
- Upload finished cuts to Planable for scheduling
- Maintain a repeatable production workflow
Requirements:
- Maintain student status throughout employment
- Work 10 to 20 hours weekly
- Attend mandatory in-person team meetings
- Complete required Police Criminal Records Check
- Work some hours in the HOEM Base office
Produce editorially directed TikTok, Instagram Reels, and web video content for The Downtown Student as a student producer.
