Job Description
- Assist with landscape constructions
- Tying
- Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
- Cut grass
- Rake and collect refuse
- Remove litter and garbage
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
- Lay sod or seed
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
- Apply fertilizers
- Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens,as directed, to control insects and disease
- Write daily basic progress reports
- Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides
- Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors,chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and otherlandscape maintenance equipment
- Load and unload trucks with supplies andequipment
Requirements
- - Education: No formal education is required
- - Experience: Experience is an asset.On-the-job training will be provided.
- - Workconditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines,Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention todetail, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
- - Personalsuitability: Reliability, Organized, Team player, Dependability

- - Language: Basic level of English is required
- Salary: $19.00 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.

Important Information
Theposition requires flexibility in scheduling based on business needs. Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30 pm, 7 am-3:30 pm. Weekend work may be required dependingon weather conditions. Please note that we are located in a rural area.
