Overview Assistant Store Manager - Spencer's role at Spencer's in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining guest services and supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store to drive sales and profitability. Responsibilities Establish and maintain guest services; support store operations to maximize sales and profitability. Develop staff, manage merchandising and inventory control in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist with controlling expenses, shrinkage, and adherence to all store policies. Qualifications Minimum age: 18. Prior retail and/or management experience required. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate ranges from $19.65 – $19.90 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience. Benefits include: company paid sick time, paid vacation time, paid holidays, bereavement pay, jury duty pay, contest prize awards, medical/dental/vision plans, employee assistance program, 30% merchandise discount, and college scholarship award. All bonuses, awards, and benefits subject to qualifications and eligibility.
