Job Purpose & Responsibilities The Application Analyst position is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity. Reporting to the IST Manager, the Application Analyst is responsible for: Technical and advisory support to all City Departments. Installing new hardware/software systems. Prioritizing and executing technical support for Help Desk calls initiated from City Department. Assisting users with training and applications. Support for all network infrastructures and servers, as well as assists with and provides support for the installation, modification, and maintenance of all virtualized system environments. Qualifications & Competencies Computer Repair and/or Networking, certifications in Comptia A+, Network A+, MCSE and Microsoft applications. Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, SQL Requires a Class 5 Drivers’ license and annual Driver’s Abstract, as well as a Criminal Records Check. Preference will be given to applicants who have two or more years’ experience. Previous experience with a municipality is considered an asset. Ability to manage strict timelines for various projects/ More Details Salary for this position is $45.60/hr. This position is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with on-call rotation and opportunity for overtime. This position is within the scope of AUPE Local 118/016, and as such you will be required to adhere to articles contained within the Collective Agreement.
