Director of Psychology Clinic and Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream – Clinical Psychology The Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) invites applications for a full‑time teaching stream position in Clinical Psychology. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. The successful candidate will be appointed as Director of the UTSC Psychology Clinic , housed in the Scarborough Academy of Medicine and Integrated Health (SAMIH) at UTSC. The appointment of Director will be for an initial 5‑year term, renewable following a favourable review. The successful candidate will also be affiliated with the Graduate Department of Psychological Clinical Science, which offers a CPA‑accredited program in Clinical Psychology grounded in the clinical science model. The program integrates scientific research with clinical practice and fosters a rigorous, evidence‑based training environment focused on interpersonal and metacognitive competencies and collaborative clinical education. The University of Toronto Scarborough is implementing its Strategic Plan: Inspiring Inclusive Excellence. Clinic Details and Clinic Director Responsibilities: This position is part of a transformative initiative at UTSC. A new Psychology Clinic will be established within SAMIH, set to open in 2026‑27. SAMIH trains future health‑care professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical therapists, and clinical psychologists, within an integrated, community‑focused model of care. As the inaugural Clinic Director, the candidate will shape the clinic’s model of care and supervision, develop an innovative, interdisciplinary training environment that supports graduate education and community mental health.
