(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc., consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost‑effective team to serve clients. LiRo‑Hill is a 1100‑person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ. Responsibilities Preparation of ASTM‑compliant Phase I / II ESAs Site investigations Drilling/excavating contractor oversight, soil/groundwater/soil vapor sample collection Soil logging and geologic formation documentation Soil sampling at various NYC agency sites Use of field equipment (PID meters, Horibas/water pumps, etc.) Oversight of groundwater monitoring well installations Construction activities oversight, including excavations, monitoring well installations, UST investigations/closures, etc. CAMP implementation and work zone monitoring Field activity report writing Assist project PMs with preparation of various summary reports and documents 8‑hour shift Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or a related field 1–2 years’ experience (entry‑level candidates will also be considered) Must have a valid driver’s license and a car (needed for field work) Self‑starter with strong analytical and writing skills Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions; reliable, detail‑oriented, and a team player Strong communication skills required Benefits We believe in the power of collaboration.
