Job Title: Air & Ocean Freight Manager

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Operations Specialist to independently manage air import and/or export shipments from start to finish within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment. This role is responsible for the full shipment lifecycle, including bookings, pickups, documentation, airline coordination, cargo recovery, final delivery, billing, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, comfortable managing time-sensitive and complex freight, and experienced working within CargoWise. Responsibilities Independently manage air import and export shipments from start to finish. Coordinate bookings, pickups, and documentation. Communicate with airlines for cargo recovery and final delivery. Handle billing and customer communication efficiently. Ensure smooth operations within the freight forwarding environment. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of direct air freight operations experience within freight forwarding. Experience using CargoWise software. Proven ability to manage air export and import shipments independently. Strong skills in customer service, logistics, freight, and transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ocean freight operations experience. Broader international import/export operations experience. Experience handling aerospace or time-critical shipments. Experience supporting multiple internal offices or internal customers. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work model, ideally suited for candidates close to Mississauga, ON, with the team located across Canada and the USA. Standard work hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
