Senior Front-End Designer

Our Edmonton client is seeking multiple Front-End Designers for an initial 12-month contract to support innovative service delivery initiatives across government programs. As part of a dynamic, cross-functional team, you’ll work on high-impact projects that use human-centred design and agile methods to modernize how Albertans interact with digital services. Advantages Join a centralized digital delivery team driving innovation across the public sector Collaborate on meaningful projects that directly impact Albertans Work with agile, multidisciplinary teams using modern design practices Opportunity for long-term contract extensions (up to 24 additional months) Flexible work arrangements depending on project needs Responsibilities Deliver creative, evidence-based front-end design solutions aligned with design standards Produce UX artifacts including wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and user flows Develop and maintain design pattern libraries and component systems Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives Conduct usability testing and provide reports on design effectiveness Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards such as WCAG Present design decisions and recommendations to teams and stakeholders Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience designing front-end services for web or other platforms Experience creating UX artifacts such as flows, wireframes, and prototypes Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams Familiarity with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles Summary If you’re ready to help shape the future of digital services, we’d love to hear from you.
