Job Description WSP is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our teams in Calgary, AB; Edmonton, AB; or Ontario offices. As a senior process discipline lead, you will work on projects ranging from conceptual studies to detailed engineering of large mega‑projects, designing facilities across Canada and globally. You will be involved in projects with our Energy & Process division and help our organization meet client objectives and solve their challenges. Responsibilities Serve as the process discipline lead on projects, managing client relationship, project quality and ensuring that budget and schedule targets are met. Communicate and coordinate with team members, other WSP groups, equipment vendors, clients, and sub‑contractors. Prepare technical reports, specifications, process schematics and layout drawings, including review of deliverables produced by junior and intermediate colleagues. Lead process and technology selection, equipment sizing and specification, mass balance, hydraulic analysis, 3‑D layout review, and review of analysis and design by junior and intermediate colleagues. Mentor and provide on‑the‑job training for junior and intermediate colleagues. Manage multiple simultaneous projects, including project resource management in conjunction with other team seniors, personal time management, and providing project support for other senior staff as required. Support the management team with budgeting, strategy development and execution, staff reviews, and delivering training programs. Primarily hybrid‑based consulting engineering work with some opportunities for business travel and fieldwork. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. 12+ years of experience as a process engineer within the consulting environment. Previous experience as a Lead is an asset. Experience in oil and gas (gas processing), hydrogen, carbon capture facilities. Current P.Eng license in your province of residence. Experience with HYSIS or Promax software packages an asset. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strong project management and discipline lead skills.
