Job Description Who You’ll Work With Arista Networks is seeking world-class Software Test Engineers to help build our next-generation network management system. The role requires broad knowledge of computer network design, configuration, and monitoring in various environments (e.g., data-center, enterprise, and service provider). You will be part of a design and test team working on state streaming, big data, and advanced analytics technologies, aiming to help network operation teams manage large networks efficiently, transitioning from outdated, time-consuming methods. Our solutions will support on-premise and cloud environments. What You’ll Do Design and execute system-level test cases for our management system, focusing on scale and performance in strenuous environments. Collaborate with the development team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, often using automation tools. Write detailed bug reports characterizing failures and their impact on customers. Work with Technical Support to reproduce, debug, and resolve customer-reported issues. Develop a passion for creating intuitive user interfaces (GUIs and APIs) that enhance user experience. Qualifications BSc in CS/CE/EE with 3+ years of experience or MSc in telecommunications, computer networking, or related fields. Experience designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting IP and Ethernet networks. Knowledge of 3+ networking protocols/technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN). Experience with Linux and related technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop). Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or TCL. Experience with provisioning/deployment frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is a plus. Strong communication skills. CCIE certification is a plus. Additional Information The base pay range is $95,000 to $145,000, with variations based on location, skills, and experience.
